Associate Professor Mike Polay is a retired USAF command pilot who now teaches safety and aeronautical science courses at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. He has held positions as a flying safety officer in both a USAF tactical fighter and tactical air control wings, a ground safety officer in a tactical air control squadron, and as Chief of Safety in a flying training wing. Prior to teaching full time in the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle, Mike was the Flight Safety Coordinator in the Flight Department.
